Canada to Blame
Published by Jayboy75 February 17th, 2004 in Features. It’s no surprise that for as long as many can recall, citizens of the United States have been using Canada as the scapegoat for everything short of an as-yet-to-occur nuclear holocaust. But a new grassroots movement has people believing it’s Canada’s own fault that they are to blame.
“All they do is sit there,” says one angry American. “It’s bad enough that they speak French! They aren’t doing anything to better themselves or the rest of the world. Look at us, we’re on the warpath. We’ll have captured the whole planet in a couple years I reckon.”
According to several anonymous postings on internet forums around the globe, “Canada is responsible for all the world’s problems because it’s their own fault.” Some have expressed their distaste in Canada’s taking the blame in more incendiary terms. “[expletive], if I was one of those sorry, neutrality-loving [plural expletive], I’d end it all.”
Whatever the case may be, it seems that Canada’s indifference towards almost everything does indeed put them at fault for whatever we happen to blame on them.
